The Tranquility of the Fungal Bloom

A waster settlement, overrun by corpo opportunists, the leaders imprisoned and the people forced to work for the corp. The mushrooms in the woods exude spores that affect anyone who breathes them in. To the north, a barrier to stop invaders, manned by bored guards. Far below them, someone has made a home in the caves. Above the settlement, an aging cyborg could be an ally, but the corpos have stolen her memory stores.

Maybe the punks can help to free the wasters from the clutches of the corpo overlord, who would make himself king? Even some of his own subordinates feel that he is taking things too far and should follow the rule of the corp.
